Adjectives like those above are but a few used by the Cantata Choir, instrumentalists, staff, new and long-time church members to describe the Bach Cantata Vespers series at Grace Lutheran Church. In the short movies above, those planning and presenting the cantatas talk about the joy it gives them to be able to perform Bach in a traditional worship setting. Members of the congregation say that they are "blown away" by the beauty of the music and liturgy. Everyone, from Cantor to oboist to usher, has a difficult time containing the fact that these services have had and continue to have a profound effect on their spiritual lives.
